Majorly Travel is a travel advisory business run by Todd Major in Ontario, Canada. We are affiliated with Nexion Travel Group-Canada (TICO Reg. 1549342). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

Contact details. Your name, email address, phone number and mailing address when you use our contact form, send us an email, call us, or message us on social media.

Trip details. Destinations, dates, who is travelling, budget, and preferences. If you tell us about accessibility needs, dietary needs or other special requests, we use that to plan your trip.

Booking information. To book travel, airlines, cruise lines, hotels and other suppliers need details such as each traveller's full legal name as it appears on their passport, date of birth, passport information, loyalty program numbers and an emergency contact. Payments are handled through the supplier or through Nexion's booking process. We do not collect or store payment card numbers on this website.

Website information. Our website is hosted by Wix. Wix collects technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device and the pages you visit, and uses cookies to make the site work and to measure how it is used.

Social media. If you message or comment on our Facebook, Instagram or X pages, that platform's own privacy policy applies. Our website may also show posts from our Facebook page.
 

Why we use it

We use your information to answer your questions, plan and book your travel, stay in touch about your trip, keep the records that Ontario travel regulations and tax law require, and keep our website working. If we send you news or promotions by email, we will only do so with your consent, and every message will include a way to unsubscribe.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed, and only for the purposes above.

• Nexion Travel Group-Canada, our host agency, which supports our bookings and processes them.

• Travel suppliers such as cruise lines, airlines, hotels, tour operators and travel insurance providers, so they can confirm and deliver what you booked.

• Service providers that help us run the business, including Wix for our website and contact forms, and Zoho and Microsoft Outlook for email.

• Regulators or authorities, such as TICO, when the law requires it.

The tools we use, including Wix, Zoho, Microsoft Outlook and the travel suppliers we book with, are run by other companies. They collect and handle information under their own privacy policies and terms, not this one. We encourage you to read their policies when you use their services.

By sending us your information or booking through us, you agree to its use as described here. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, though in some cases we will not be able to complete or change a booking without the information, and we may need to keep certain records for legal reasons.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including any record-keeping required by TICO or by law. After that we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

No system is completely secure, so please do not send passport numbers or payment card numbers by regular email. If we need them, we will tell you how to send them safely.

Our website is meant for adults. If you give us information about other people, including children, you are confirming that you have their permission, or that you are their parent or guardian.

Our website may link to other sites, such as cruise lines and tourism operators. We do not control them, and their privacy practices are their own.
